Sausagemeat Stuffing

Sausagemeat Stuffing is a traditional Christmas / Yule stuffing tha can cooked inside of your turkey or on the side as it’s own dish.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C.
  2. Finely chop onion.
  3. Peel, core and finely chop apple.
    • Alternatively, you can grate the Apple.
  4. Add breadcrumbs and onion to a mixing bowl and mix.
  5. Add the meat, apple, cranberry and spices to the bowl and mix.
  6. Add a beaten egg and mix further.
  7. Put the mixture into the freezer for 20 minutes. (Optional)
  8. Mould into desired shape, loaf or meatballs.
  9. Cover with foil and roast for 30 minutes.

Notes

  1. After step 7 you may stuff it into your turkey instead.
  2. Ingredients can be proportioned how you like.
  3. Apple or Cranberry can be used you do not need to use both.
