Salsa
published onThis is a quick recipe for a salsa, this covers the basics of making one and you can adjust it simply and easily. This is intended more as a baseline recipe and you can make whichever changes and additions you please.
Ingredients
- Canned Tomatoes
- Peppers of choice
- Red Onions
- White Onions
- Garlic
- Limes
- Spices:
- Salt
- Pepper
- Chilli Powder
- Cumin
Equipment
- Blender (Recommended)
- You can use a Mortar and Pestle but I wonβt be covering how at this time. (Stay tuned)
Directions
- Throw the tomatoes and garlic into the blender.
- Chop peppers and onions.
- Juice your limes.
- Add the spices to the blender.
- Blend!
- You may now add your onions and peppers in their desired size and call it a day.
- Alternatively you can blend them all up with the rest of it for a less chunky salsa.
Notes
- This is pretty much just a reminder for myself of what ingredients to use.
- Adjust size of onions, peppers, etc as you please.
- I made this with buffalo sauce in it one time and it was pretty good.
